Call first to confirm
What to expect LIHEAP pays $300-$800 directly to the utility provider (electric, gas, propane, wood, coal, oil, kerosene). Weatherization reduces energy costs for owners and renters, but the wait can exceed a year. The 2026-2027 LIHEAP program year began October 1, 2026.
